Nicholas Wray is a professional horticulturist who has worked for the University of Bristol Botanic Garden for 30 years. As Curator he is responsible for the curation of the botanic collections, management of the team of staff and volunteers and as part of the gardens management group, developing and delivering the gardens educational Mission. He has a wide range of horticultural experiences, including studying plants in the wild, in particular the flora of South Africa. He is Fellow of the Institute of Horticulture, former RHS Tender and Ornamental Plant Committee member and PlantNetwork Board member 1997-2009. He currently sits on the RHS Herb Advisory Group and has previously judged at RHS shows including Chelsea.
