Dr Sam Brockington, Curator University of Cambridge Botanic Garden. Dr Samuel Brockington gained a BSc with 1st Class honours in Plant Science from the University of Edinburgh in 2002. He joined the laboratory of Professors Douglas and Pamela Soltis at the Florida Museum of Natural History, USA in 2003 and was awarded my PhD in 2009.  He subsequently joined Professor Beverley Glover initially as a Marie Curie Re-Integration Fellow in the Department of Plant Sciences, Cambridge, and then as a post-doctoral research assistant, a Newton Trust Post-Doctoral Fellow, and Bye-Fellow of Girton College, Cambridge. He is currently a NERC Independent Research Fellow, University Lecturer at the Department of Plant Sciences, Cambridge, and Curator of the Cambridge University Botanic Gardens.
