Fiona Inches, Glasshouse Manager, Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh
Fiona started her career working in the production Glasshouse for Perth and Kinross district council. Following her DHE (Diploma in Horticulture, Edinburgh) she was employed as Temperate propagator in the glass department. Now as one of the Glasshouse managers she is responsible for research and public glasshouses including the iconic Palm House’s. She is also responsible for the department plant records, plant requests and the Quarantine house.
