Dr Katja Neves is tenured Associate Professor of Sociology of the Environment at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. She currently holds two research grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, Canada, to investigate the contemporary re-invention of urban Botanical Gardens around the world as agents of biodiversity conservation.
