Observatree tree pest and disease stakeholder training. One day free courses in London and Edinburgh.
The successful and pioneering tree health citizen science project ‘Observatree’ is offering two, 1-day stakeholder training sessions on tree pests and diseases during June and July.
These events are aimed at introducing the range of free online Observatree pest and disease educational resources, our priority pests and diseases, information on reporting pests and diseases and biosecurity (those attending the events should bring clean, dirt-free footwear). If weather permits, they will also look at examples of pests and diseases within the local surroundings. For this reason, Observatree are focussing on small groups and would like to target individuals who are able to provide onward dissemination to colleagues. Although unable to provide training for large groups at this time, they hope to be able to offer such a service over the coming year.
Each day will start with registration at 9:30 for a 10:00 start and will end by 15:30. Further information and joining details can be found on the invitation.
