An information and training day introducing garden masterplanning to horticulturists with limited or no experience of garden masterplans or those who wish to refresh in a practical workshop environment.
Starting with an introduction to the masterplanning process in general, the day will focus use the Trewithen masterplan as a case study – how it was developed and the key steps to implementation. Participants will tour the garden and discuss with the authors of the masterplan the practical implications of the masterplan and how it impacts on garden management. There will be an opportunity to explore the development of a masterplan outline and identify issues that emerge from the planning process.
The day will take place in Trewithen Gardens, Cornwall.
