The webinar on Thursday 15 December 2022 marked the end of the PlantNetwork Year of Sustainability 2022. We heard from Prof Alistair Griffiths, Director of Science & Collections at the RHS, about the RHS Sustainability Strategy; Jens Spanjer, Executive Director of the Schloss Dyck Foundation, about the Schloss Dyck project to become carbon neutral; and Bec Law, of Gardens Revitalised (https://gardensrevitalised.co.uk/), providing a practical horticultural perspective.

The speakers covered a range of sustainability topics, mostly environmental but also including the social and economic aspects too. Providing overviews applicable to large public gardens to smaller private gardens, there are ideas, concepts and considerations applicable to any garden,
