BGCI and ArbNet accreditation schemes


Brian Lainoff, from BGCI, and Sue Paist, of ArbNet, joined the PlantNetwork webinar series to introduce their two linked accreditation schemes. An excellent starting point for anyone interested in seeking accreditation for their plant collection.

The BGCI accreditation scheme is open to all botanic gardens as well as non-botanic gardens (through the Conservation Practitioner route). Similarly, the ArbNet accreditation program considers a range of tree-based garden types, with the entry point being a collection of 25 trees.
