A group of 16 people from a broad range of gardens met a Treborth Botanic Garden on the banks of the Menai Straits. We were welcomed by garden director Dr Shaun Russell and Curator and PlantNetwork Board member Natalie Chivers. Staff shared experiences from Sheffield Botanic Garden, Winterbourne House and Garden and Treborth which prompted broad discussion on how we manage our gardens and often need to justify their existence to their owner bodies.
