20 June 2017, RHS Garden Wisley. RHS staff Sam Gallivan, Nursery and Propagation Team leader and Heather Cooke, Team Leader for the members’ seed scheme hosted a fully booked training day with 25 delegates from 17 gardens across the UK. Attendees learned about new pests and diseases coming into the UK and also those particularly relevant to propagation environments. Attendees had a tour of the propagation facilities, holding area and members seed bank at wisely. I was a great chance to see behind the scenes and find out about the plans for the new building projects at Wisley.
