Leigh Morris, RBGE Associate Director of Horticulture (Learning) and Institute of Horticulture President

Leigh has 30 years’ experience in horticulture, including working in the nursery industry and lecturing and managing in horticulture colleges, before arriving at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh as Head of the School of Horticulture in 2004. Currently Leigh is an Associate Director of Horticulture, responsible for all areas of Learning at RBGE. Leigh is also the President of the IoH and Chair of Grow Careers initiative. Leigh ‘Bought the social media ticket’ after seeing the potential in USA at the APGA conference in 2011 and since then has encouraged a few horticulture organisations to join in!
