Tree Health & Plant Biosecurity Action Plan

In recognition of the increasing pest and disease threat to trees and the importance of wider plant biosecurity, a Tree Health & Plant Biosecurity Action Plan drawn up by Defra and the Forestry Commission was launched in mid-October 2011.

The plan includes a theme on ‘public & stakeholder engagement’. PlantNetwork will be involved in this aspect, as part of the Parks and Gardens Biosecurity Working Group.
