Be part of the creation of a Cultivar Checklist for Viburnum

The APGA (American Public Gardens Association) are looking for names of Viburnum cultivars to add to a checklist they are creating. Can you help?

Background:

The APGA serves as the ICRA (International Cultivar Registration Authority) registrar for unassigned woody genera. Though not explicitly required to produce checklists for these genera, many are commonly represented in the living collections of botanical gardens and references for such genera would be helpful for the botanical garden community. A tentative checklist was produced for the genus Viburnum in the early 2000s but was not fully completed or released.

Expected Output:

Cultivar checklist for release in at least tentative form

Kristina Aguilar (Plant Records Manager, Longwood Gardens) and Cat Meholic (Plant Recorder at Mt. Cuba Center) from the Plant Nomenclature and Taxonomy Professional Section of the APGA have been contacting plant collections holders asking for their help to collect Viburnum cultivar names.  They have developed a simple Excel spreadsheet to collate the information.  The spreadsheet includes detailed instructions to help BG-BASE and IrisBG users export their data.  Clear instructions will also help users of other systems.
