This one day training day at RBG Kew at Wakehurst Place and the Millennium Seed Bank (MSB) brought together over 30 people from 17 different gardens to hear about plant selection, controlled pollination and methods of seed collecting from heritage vegetables to seed collecting expeditions in Chile. Workshops included collecting and assessing viability of seeds in the grounds of Wakehurst and washing, cleaning and storing seed in the MSB.
