Garden Organic’s (formerly Henry Doubleday Research Association) Heritage Seed Library has over 800 varieties of vegetable, of which 200 or so are offered free to members each year
Irish Seed Savers Association
The Irish Seed Savers Association is a voluntary organisation dedicated to the location and preservation of traditional varieties of fruit and vegetables, based in Scarrif, County Clare. It maintains a seed bank which distributes seeds of non-commercially available vegetables, including heritage potatoes. They have a collection of more than 120 old Irish apple varieties.
